A beautiful combination of garter stitch rib columns and lace/cable stitch pattern gives these socks enough interest to keep the experienced sock knitter engaged, while providing a pleasant challenge for those new to sock knitting or stitch combinations. Twisted rib cuffs form a crisp finish, and the Alternate Cable cast-on retains ample stretch.$6.50
Bold columns of alternating lace and eyelet patterns give these socks a lovely texture. It is simple enough for knitters new to socks or lace, while also providing enough detail to keep the interest of the more experienced sock knitter.
The pattern is written to use magic-loop method of circular knitting which can easily be modified for the double-pointed needles or 2 circulars methods, if preferred.
Worked from the cuff-down with a heel flap/gusset heel.
Available in two sizes, the lace stitch pattern provides a degree of ease to the finished measurements, making this pattern very suitable for varying sizing, and there is also provision for custom-fitting the foot length before beginning the toe shaping.
Both written instructions and a chart have been included for the lace panels.

Using a single skein of luxury, hand-dyed merino/silk yarn, this small shawl is worked from side-to-side to create a lovely semi-circular shape.
Directional panels of lace emulate the gentle currents of the sea and the finished piece was designed to follow the natural curves of the body along the upper back, hugging the shoulders to stay in place.
An i-cord edging neatly borders the longer edges to help the shape of the shawl lay flat, while the combination of gauge and yarn gives a beautiful drape to the finished piece.
Written and charted instructions included.
This pattern has been test knit and tech edited.

Urchin is a lightweight beanie with a cable-and-lace rib pattern that provides just the right amount of stretch and comfortable slouch.
Knit using a woolly sportweight/light DK yarn worked at a slightly looser gauge to compliment the drape and wearability of the design.
Worked in the round, with both written and charted instructions provided, this pattern is a perfect introduction for those new to lace, cables, charts or circular knitting.
Instructions for two sizes - S/M and M/L - are also provided, and by the stretchy nature of the stitch pattern, a generous amount of sizing flexibility is accommodated between the two.
Yarn: Isager Jensen - 100% wool/100g/273yd/250m. 175m - 220m required for pattern as written. NB: Shilasdair Luxury DK or Rowan Felted Tweed DK would both also be excellent choices.
Please note substituting yarns, not achieving gauge, or adding/removing repeats could possibly affect the meterage required, and allow for this when making yarn quantity decisions.
