A heavily textured, longline cowl combining panels of twisted stitches in interlocking waves with contrasting columns of 1x1 twisted rib. Bordered by matching cuffs of twisted rib finished with a simple rolled edge.
Finished size approximately 120cm/47in circumference; 30cm/12in wide. Perfect to wear long, or doubled over for extra cosy warmth.
Gauge: 25sts/24rows = 10cm/4in over pattern

Flinders

A beautiful combination of garter stitch rib columns and lace/cable stitch pattern gives these socks enough interest to keep the experienced sock knitter engaged, while providing a pleasant challenge for those new to sock knitting or stitch combinations. Twisted rib cuffs form a crisp finish, and the Alternate Cable cast-on retains ample stretch.This pattern is knit in the round (instructions for knitting in the round method are not specified, but rather written in a way that the knitter is able to choose any of their preferred methods).
The sock is worked from the top down, and has a heel flap/gusset heel construction. Instructions for the toe are given as a standard/classic toe (paired decreases on either side of toe, separated by 2 stitches), using Kitchener stitch to finish.
Two sizes:
Small/Medium (finished size.- 20cm/8in foot circumference); Medium/Large (finished size - 22.5cm/9in foot circumference)

Urchin

Urchin is a lightweight beanie with a cable-and-lace rib pattern that provides just the right amount of stretch and comfortable slouch.
Knit using a woolly sportweight/light DK yarn worked at a slightly looser gauge to compliment the drape and wearability of the design.
Worked in the round, with both written and charted instructions provided, this pattern is a perfect introduction for those new to lace, cables, charts or circular knitting.
Instructions for two sizes - S/M and M/L - are also provided, and by the stretchy nature of the stitch pattern, a generous amount of sizing flexibility is accommodated between the two.
Yarn: Isager Jensen - 100% wool/100g/273yd/250m. 175m - 220m required for pattern as written. NB: Shilasdair Luxury DK or Rowan Felted Tweed DK would both also be excellent choices.
Please note substituting yarns, not achieving gauge, or adding/removing repeats could possibly affect the meterage required, and allow for this when making yarn quantity decisions.
Needles: 4mm & 4.5mm (or size to obtain gauge)
